Christine Russo-Mayer, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Christine Russo-Mayer has been practicing Audiology since 2000. She earned her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida in 2003 after earning a master’s degree in Audiology from Lehman College in Bronx, New York in 1999. Dr. Russo-Mayer is certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She is fully licensed by New York State to dispense hearing aids and is certified to recommend and fit all levels of amplification that include digital hearing aids and FM systems.
Her clinical expertise includes her work with pediatric through geriatric populations, hearing aids, and early intervention. In addition, she specializes in the assessment and treatment of Central Auditory Processing Disorders and educational consulting. Dr. Russo-Mayer also supervises students from many Audiology Doctoral programs through internships and 4th year placements.
Dr. Russo-Mayer is married to her husband, Paul, since 2001 and is a mother of 2 beautiful children, Jenna and Jayson. As a wife, mother, and private practice owner, she knows firsthand the importance of family and this philosophy is the core root of her practice. Before relocating her practice to Westchester County after the birth of her daughter, and partnering with pediatric ENT Dr. Joseph Bernstein, Dr. Russo-Mayer was the director of The Communications Center, an Audiology private practice of the Upper East Side of Manhattan. There she worked side by side with adult and pediatric ear, nose and throat doctors and gained a tremendous knowledge for the medical background of Audiology. In addition to the clinical Audiology practice at The Communications Center, Dr. Russo-Mayer had the pleasure of working with The Tomatis Program and other listening training programs developed for individuals with Auditory Processing, ADHD, Sensory Integration, Autism, and other developmental delays. In working with these populations, Dr. Russo-Mayer has learned to focus on the WHOLE PERSON rather than just THEIR EARS. Dr. Russo-Mayer collaborates with many audiologists, speech therapists, and physicians in Westchester and Connecticut. Additionally, she works closely with Listening Partners to provide comprehensive early intervention, preschool and school services throughout NY and CT.
Lindsay Brown, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Lindsay Brown joined CRM Audiology in 2021. Dr. Brown graduated magna cum laude with research distinction from The Ohio State University, where she majored in Speech and Hearing Sciences. She went on to receive her Audiology Doctorate from CUNY, The Graduate Center. Dr. Brown is certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association as she knows the importance of remaining up to date on the latest research and best practices. Prior to working at CRM Audiology, she was the primary audiologist at two locations of Hearing Health USA where she specialized in the appropriate fitting of digital hearing aids and worked with a wide variety of hearing aid manufacturers. She was an Audiology Fellow at the Westchester Institute for Human Development and has completed externships at the Brooklyn Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center and the Rose F. Kennedy Children’s Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center (CERC).
Dr. Brown has diverse audiologic clinical experience including pediatric and adult audiology. Dr. Brown’s primary focus is providing the most effective patient-centered care for individuals of all ages with hearing loss including comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, auditory processing evaluations, counseling, and the selection and fitting of hearing aids. Dr. Brown recognizes the importance of hearing health and looks forward to helping her patients as a member of the CRM Audiology family.
Kelly Racanelli
Administrative Assistant
Kelly Racanelli is the Administrative Assistant of the practice. She handles the day-to-day business tasks as well as patient care coordination. Kelly will assist you in scheduling your appointments for hearing tests, hearing aid consultations and fittings, auditory processing evaluations, and early intervention appointments.
Kelly works hand in hand with all of the doctors to ensure our patients have an exceptional experience from the first encounter at CRM Audiology.

How We Give Back to Our Community
CRM Audiology is proud to be an active member of the Westchester community. Every year, we join Walk4Hearing, the only nationwide walk event spotlighting hearing health and empowering people to live well with hearing loss.
We also work closely with HearStrong, an organization dedicated to helping people get the hearing care they need. We provide hearing aid fittings for people in need who traditionally cannot afford hearing care.
