Dr. Russo-Mayer is married to her husband Paul since 2001 and is a mother of 2 beautiful children, Jenna and Jayson. As a wife, mother and private practice owner, she knows first hand the importance of family and this philosophy is the core root of her practice. Before relocating her practice to Westchester County after the birth of her daughter, and partnering with pediatric ENT Dr. Jospeh Bernstein, Dr. Russo-Mayer was the director of The Communications Center, an Audiology private practice of the Upper East Side of Manhattan. There she worked side by side with adult and pediatric ear, nose and throat doctors and gained a tremendous knowledge for the medical background of Audiology. In addition to the clinical Audiology practice at The Communications Center, Dr. Russo-Mayer had the pleasure of working with The Tomatis Program and other listening training programs developed for individuals with Auditory Processing, ADHD, Sensory Integration, Autism and other developmental delays. In working with these populations, Dr. Russo-Mayer has learned to focus on the WHOLE PERSON rather than just THEIR EARS. Dr. Russo-Mayer collaborates with many audiolgists, speech therapsts, and physicians in Westchester and Connecticut. Additionally, she works closely with Listening Partners to provide comprehensive early internvention, preschool and school services throughout NY and CT.
